Today Lo and I visited Kakawa in Darlinghurst. Totally thought it was going to be an Asian place but thankfully it wasn't. I died when we stepped in- it smelt Amazing! Then, we were greeted by the nicest of nice guys who introduced us to the chocolates. I chose nine, some among those were sea salted caramel, green tea, tonka & vanilla, ginseng and the hazelnut boulder. Upon browsing their site I also noticed they did ice cream sandwiches so that was a must... I got the salted caramel sandwich and Lo got the vanilla and white choc. Both orgasmic.

I haven't had a chance to taste the chocolate yet so no comment on that but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, based solely on the experience. The nice guy also told me that they post all their chocolatey updates on twitter so check them out!

Today I lunched with Eric at Savichees (I keep reading it 'sandweechees') in Piramma Park. The waitstaff were lovely. 

I got the roast chicken sandwich and E got the wagyu beef. Almost everything was great but I've got to say, the contents weren't done justice as they used very ordinary bread. Other than that, thumbs up!

Ok, I'm going to put it out there- I fudgin' miss New York!

Hopefully I'll be hopping on over sometime next year... Fingers crossed.
